Eleanor May Tomlinson is an English actress who portrays Demelza Poldark in the 2015 BBC adaptation of Poldark.

Early Life

Tomlinson is the daughter of Judith Hibbert, a singer and Malcom Tomlinson, an actor. She was raised in Beverley, Yorkshire.

Career

Tomlinson's first role was as Daphne in the film, The Falling in 2005. She later went on to play Sophie in The Illusionist and a small role in Einstein and Eddington.

In 2008, she played Jas in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. She had supporting roles in The Sarah Jane Adventures, Alice in Wonderland and The Lost Future.

In 2013, she portrayed Princess Isabelle in Jack the Giant Slayer[1], Isabel Neville in the BBC adaptation of The White Queen[2] and Georgiana Darcy in Death Comes to Pemberley.

Since 2015, she has played Demelza Poldark in the 2015 BBC adaptation of Poldark.[3]
